We collect and store only the following information about you: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site, and the Internet address of the web site from which you navigated to our site.

We use the information we collect to measure the number of visitors to different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to visitors.

Online Community of Practice

Upon registration for the Online Community of Practice, users provide personal information such as their name, email address, and other information. We use this information to establish individual accounts and member profiles, which are protected by a password that you select.

The information you provide about yourself will be displayed in your personal profile for other members to see.  Besides displaying this information in your profile, we will not sell, distribute, publish or otherwise disclose your personally identifying information. However, if we believe you have breached the Terms of Service, especially with regard to uploading or transmitting any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, we will report such conduct to the appropriate authorities and turn over any and all information, including personal identifying information, to appropriate persons or entities. We will also comply with any laws or legal process that may require disclosure of personal identifying information.

We store personal information of members in secure databases protected by passwords as well as database and network firewalls to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of personal information. While no security systems are infallible, we will prosecute any unauthorized access to secured information to the fullest extent of the law. We periodically review and update security measures to insure the best possible protections for the membership.

You can notify your site administrator at any time to remove your registration information from our database by emailing info@urbanuniversitiesforhealth.org. If you do that, we will not keep any personally identifiable records concerning you unless required to do so by law. However, if you make this request you will be unable to further access this site or use the account previously created for you and its associated content.

Use of the Online Community of Practice is governed by our Terms of Service, as they may be amended from time to time, which are incorporated into this policy by reference.
